Cook the Mag: Chicken and Biscuits from the November Food & Wine

It's cold! Which means it's finally time for cozy meals.

Like this one-pot chicken and biscuit recipe, developed by my all-time favorite
recipe developer, Grace Parisi at Food & Wine.

Looks good, doesn't it?

I oversalted a bit - you might want to underseason while cooking because
the sauce cooks down quite a bit, concentrating the flavor.
But despite that, this was a really good, hearty dinner.

And easy, even though the biscuits are from scratch. (The chicken,
on the other hand, is rotisserie.)

It is one of the few F&W recipes I've made that actually took
me less time than the magazine's estimate.

Which meant, of course, that Cooper was late getting home from work.
So dinner was ready before he got home. Because isn't that always the way?
