This past weekend's eighty degree temps (in my sunny backyard) sent us right outside. We did tons of grilling and a lot of deck-centric relaxing. Unfortunately, yesterday's miserable rain sent me back into wishful mode. I'm ready for permanent spring and I'm ready to eat outside.
Since that's obviously not going to happen just yet, I'm tiding myself over with some pretty pictures:
This table is draped with antique saris, which might be the coolest-sounding thing ever.
I am sure I'm not the only girl who would like Jonathan Adler to be her gay boyfriend. Look at that gate! And the chairs! And the table!
Between this and the Jonathan Adler space, I'm pretty sure I need to get my hands on some dainty white folding chairs. Also, Martha has tapped into my current paper flower obsession.

Occasionally, Martha suggests something that I think I could actually do pretty easily - like wrap candleholders with leaves. Not only is this (probably) within my grasp, I also really like how clean and modern it looks.

Although Adler is talented, he annoys the crap out of me.
I think I might love him for the reasons he annoys you. All that Adler-ness. And combine it with the Doonan? Yes, I see the annoying factor, but I kind of love it.
