(Not So) Artsy Wednesday: The Eames Case Study Gingerbread House

(On the left, the real Eames Case Study House. On the right, my gingerbread version. In case it wasn't obvious.)
I just don't have the energy to describe what got me into the building of this gorgeous piece of work, but you can read about it here. But believe me, I thought the end result was going to be a lot prettier. I'm not quite sure why I thought that, but I did. Apparently I had more faith in my artistic abilities than they actually warranted.
But anyway, there it is - my painfully executed version of the famous Eames Case Study house in southern California.
Oh well, maybe next year's house will be better. I'm open to suggestions as to which famous architectural wonder I should immortalize in gingerbread next.

I love your rendition of the Eames house, but please next year get me involved. You know I love to bake and I have never made a gingerbread house, although I am pretty sure I would have bought graham crackers and stuck with homeade icing!!! AKB

Well, there's always next year.

Possibly. This might be it for me.
