Last week, Cooper's sister Missy invited Dixon and me over for a little after-school picnic. Our plan was to hit the Rodgers Forge tot lot, so Dixon could run around and Missy's baby Mimi could, well, watch (since she's not quite six months old). Unfortunately, rain got in the way, so we dined on a blanket spread on Missy's living room floor instead.
Lunch was simple and good - pasta salad and cheese and crackers (actually, cheddar cheese on ginger snaps, which was great). My favorite part of lunch, though, was the dessert Missy gave me to take home:
