Old School Thursday: Vast Wasteland of Food History Edition

Today is National Ice Cream Pie Day – delicious – and from a food perspective, that’s about it. The summer certainly is a dry food history desert. I guess it’s because people are too busy vacationing and eating ripe tomatoes to apply for Teflon patents, or whatever else it is I usually write about in this space.
