Today’s kind of a quiet day – that is, if National Tortilla Chip Day and the Swamp Cabbage Festival make for a quiet day in your house. I’m not going to pretend we observe them around here.
There’s not really any food news today, but it is a big birthday. Today Abe Vigoda, king of the Comedy Central roast, is 87 and Steve Jobs king of the design-forward communication device, is 56. Happy birthday to all!
So to celebrate? Break out the chips and swamp cabbage…and the birthday cake.
