Old School Thursday: Peanut Butter Fudge Edition

Today is National Peanut Butter Fudge Day. And that is it. Seriously.

But look at all the stuff I missed last week, while I was lounging on the beach in the Bahamas, pina colada in hand: November 13th was National Indian Pudding Day and St. Diego Alacala's Day. He is the patron of cooks. Also, on November 13, 1805, Vienna’s own Johann George Lehner may or may not have created the frankfurter. And on the 13th in 1895, Hawaii shipped its first canned pineapple.

Now that’s a big day in food history.
