Just a quick observation: I think there's a real opportunity for a decent artist to use Thanksgiving as a subject.
If only because a search for "Thanksgiving art" turns up a pretty pathetic collection of kindergarten crafts and the occasional Thomas Kincade-ish painting.
I had big plans for a post centered around a cool, possibly retro-modern Thanksgiving-themed print. But since no such thing exists, my "artsy" inspiration has dried up.

But yes I agree on searching for Thanksgiving art... it's just not there!
