I'm normally not a fan of any wedding write-up in the NYT, unless I'm reading it for the unintentional-comedy-borne-out-of-pretentiousness factor. But a quick read of this old article (courtesy of BWE) written about Tom Colicchio's wedding gives me a slightly warm feeling. For one thing, the entire thing sounds pretty low-key (but with great food). For another, the wedding took place the weekend after September 11th.
Plus, apparently Colicchio decided to propose while watching High Fidelity. Part of me is like, really? I mean...really? But then most of me is like, wow, I love that movie. We just watched it a couple of days ago. It's just so good.
And speaking of Colicchio, I haven't written about last night's episode because I haven't watched it yet. Am about to. Thoughts will be posted later. But I can happily report that I am currently ranked 17th in overall Farfarazzi rankings. I don't know what happened last night but I do know that I am SMART.
