Cooper and I watched Eat Drink Man Woman on Sunday - after years of hearing that it's a great movie about food. And it is. We both really enjoyed it, though I wish I hadn't been trying to do work and watch at the same time. It's one thing to do that with a movie in English. It's another to shift your eyes back and forth between subtitles and a computer screen. I ended up carsick.
Regardless, the food's beautiful and the story's strong. Turns out, everybody from Dana Stevens to Anthony Bourdain was right.
