Somehow, while buying a new (orange) teakettle from Amazon, I got sidetracked and ended up ordering some black winter truffles.
Excess, indeed.
They should arrive sometime next week - perfect timing to cook in my newly painted kitchen (at least I'm assuming it'll be painted and I'll be in for real next week).
Now the real excess begins - I get to choose a recipe...
