After a brief(ish) hiatus, the Deep Glamour blog is up and running - and I'm blogging there again. Right now, I have
a post up about the resurgence of Prohibition era cocktails. While writing, I interviewed Jon Blair, bartender at
Rye and co-founder of the
Forgotten Cocktail Club, and Ryan Perlberg, the owner of Rye.
A taste:
All over Baltimore, Prohibition era cocktails like the Aviation (gin, maraschino liqueur and crème de violette) and the Bee’s Knees (gin, honey and lemon) sit on menus alongside craft beers and small-batch bourbons. With the drink snobs, they’re hot.
