In case you can't tell, since Alicia's lens was obviously a little hazy, Jeff and I are enjoying our choice of many, many, many pool floats. We've got about fifty water guns, too.
We're having a great time - and eating well - though we have also run into some hardship. Thrown out backs, raging thunderstorms, tents brought without tops, that sort of thing. Nothing that ruins a vacation (though the thrown out backs definitely come close). But nothing we'd ask for, either.
Regular posting will resume next week. In the meantime, a recommendation: If you're looking to mix up burger night a bit, these pork and chorizo burgers are really pretty great. We made them last Saturday night and would definitely do it again.
That's all for now. It's almost noon, after all. Probably time for a beach drink.
