Today is National Chocolate Chip Day, which seems pretty big in itself, since chocolate chips are a major component in the chocolate chip cookie, which, for my money, is pretty much the most All-American cookie out there.
But today is also full of big news on the international front – in theory, at least. Legend says that today in 1693, Dom Perignon discovered the process for making champagne. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Speaking of history+America, do you know what else happened in 1693? A certain very special school was founded. Go Tribe!
