Do they count as food? Well, they won't be eaten at our house, since they've been sitting out since Sunday. But still, here is our Easter egg story. And ends with a collection of foggily photographed, abstract expressionist eggs, lovingly tucked in egg cups by Alicia, and placed on my new Liberty of London of Target platter:
It's been an Easter extravaganza around here of late and this weekend promises to be a big mess of pastel-colored sugar. I'll be stealing everyone's black jelly beans, Dixon will be throwing tantrums for "one more starburst" and Cooper will most likely be sulking that, since I didn't refrigerate the eggs, he can't eat them.
Happy Easter, everyone. And enjoy the weather while it lasts!
