Old School Thursday: Molly Edition

Somebody in Annapolis is responsible for National Crab Stuffed Flounder Day, aren’t they?

In other February 18th news, today in 1871, Harry Brearley – inventor of stainless steel and outfitter of the modern kitchen – was born. Nearly a century later, in 1968, Molly Ringwald was born. No, that doesn’t really have anything to do with food, unless you count that she was in The Breakfast Club and there was birthday cake at the end of Sixteen Candles, but Molly is the celebrity that I look most like, so she gets a mention. Plus, she lives in Paris and of course I think that is cool.

And that’s it. So to celebrate? Birthday gateau for breakfast and crab-stuffed flounder for dinner. All prepared using stainless appliances, of course.

I thought Molly Ringwald was living in the states the last few years. Did her show get cancelled?

You're probably right - I just remember that she used to live in Paris and I was too lazy to even google it...
