As per usual, the Barger house decorations were over the top, and they carried through to the food, which included "slimy sloppy joes," two soups, and:
The potatoes were especially good - really nicely salty and crispy. And in real life, they did have a creepy, shrunken head look.
The kids were all over the trick-or-treating on Saturday of course, but Friday night was fun, too. Dixon and Maddy spent a couple of hours shrieking around the house, singing at the top of their lungs, and trying on Alicia's Halloween-themed accessories:
While Cooper and Mike spent their time carving pumpkins that didn't turn out at all how they were supposed to:
All in all, it was a great Halloween, even if we didn't get any great pictures of our family costume (Phineas, Ferb, and Isabella).
At our house, of course, we're already planning for next year. Dixon wants to be Michelangelo from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Already. We'll see how long that lasts.
