Next week is Restaurant Week in Baltimore. It happens twice a year - once in the freezing cold and once in the sweltering heat (last July we had an amazing meal at the Black Olive with our friends CJ and Amy).
It really is a great deal - fantastic restaurants offering a $30 three-course meal. Of course it's easy to spend a lot more than $30 a person - a bottle of wine here, an extra appetizer there. But even so, it's a great excuse to go out to dinner during an otherwise very boring, very chilly week.
