Question: does the fact that we are almost finished a huge construction project that will result in a beautiful new kitchen mean I am more or less justified in purchasing these knife blocks?
I mean, we did just spend like a trillion dollars, so I guess I should be thinking frugally. But they're so cool! And wouldn't they make the kitchen that much more beautiful?
I was just looking at these, so pretty.... speaking of wants did you get your potato ricer for Christmas? Do you love it? I think the mashed potatoes would be labled "life altering." But does it have any other uses?
ReplyDeleteI DID get it. But since we haven't had a functional kitchen since...forever, I haven't gotten to use it yet.
ReplyDeleteThe good news is, we'll have a working kitchen before mashed potato season is over.
As for other uses, I'm sure there are some, I just haven't found them yet. But it takes up enough cabinet space that I think I'll have to get creative, just to make it worth it's cubic feet...
What else has the same consistency as potatoes? Cooked apples and pears maybe?
